Paneer Butter Masala
This is a very popular North Indian dish made from Indian cottage cheese .I love paneer recipes very much as it blends with the gravy and tastes awesome. Piping hot naan and paneer butter masala is the one we prefer in restaurants for dinner.Once I prepared this searching in net, from that time it turned out our favourite dish at home. But I will not prepare this so often as the name implies its more rich due to butter and the gravy is thickened by using cashew paste rather than just cream. I avoid adding food colour so the gravy will not be red as you see in hotels .You cannot go wrong with this even you are preparing it for the first time, try it for yourself and see….

Pavakkai Puli Kulambu/ Bitterguord curry
Pavakkai is one of my hubby's favourite vegetable preferably as puli kulambu. Besides it is loaded with lots of precious nutrients So i try to include it as much as possible. Most of them avoid this wonderful veggie because of its bitterness .There are many tricks to reduce the bitterness by soaking it in saltwater or in tamarind extract or in curd and also washing it several times in lots of water. I didd'nt soaked it but somehow the bitterness is reduced in this curry because of frying it before adding it to the gravy. It tastes really good even my little one liked it...
Have a try you too will love...

Potato Masala For Puri / UrulaiKizhangu Masala
Everyones favourite is potatoes. This is the magic of the potatoes. You will hardly find anyone who dislikes them.Kids love to have potatoes. My little one is not exceptional too.He likes anything made from potatoes and me too.So it a friendly root to me.And also they're high in starchy carbohydrates .But if you are trying to cut extra fat just avoid preparing with more fats such as butter and also avoid deep fries.A baked potato contains lots of vitamin in it.I usually make traditional potato masala for puri. But if I like to have something spicy I prefer this one.Really its a best combo for puri and chapati.I learnt this from my MIL.Give it a try.
