This is my all time favourite starter recipe that can be made in a jiffy. No need of long time marination but tastes so good. I have posted chicken 65 using egg in my blog before.Check the recipe here.I didn’t use red food colour if you wish then add a pinch. This is a simple easy version , try it and give me your valuable thoughts.Lets see the step by step preparation…
Chicken – 400 gms
Thich yogurt / curd– 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder / Manjal thool – 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder / Milagai thool – 1 tsp
Corriander powder / Dhaniya thool – 1 tsp
Fennelseeds powder / Sombu thool – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
All purpose flour / Maida – 1tsp
Corn flour – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Take all the above ingredients except chicken and oil and mix it to a fine paste ( I used mixer to mix it evenly you can do with hands too,no need of adding water as the moisture from curd and lemon juice is enough ).
Apply the masala over the chicken and set it aside for 5 mins.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces in batches until both sides are cooked and turn golden brown.
Serve it in a plate with lemon wedges.Enjoy it as a starter or an accompaniment to any rice.
