Palak Keerai Poriyal / Spinach Stir Fry

This is a simple poriyal that pairs nicely with all rice items. Spinach is one of the greens that is available all time in my place. I will make either keerai sambar or keerai kootu or keerai poriyal  with this healthy green. Every single dish is a good hit at home. Moreover this green is loaded with lots of nutrients and are rich in vitamins and minerals. I consumed this green a lot when I was pregnant. Here comes the recipe..

Pavakkai Masala Varuval / Bittergourd Masala Fry

This is a super healthy and delicious side for those who loves bitter gourd. First time when I heard the name of this recipe  from my mom , it sounded different as I never used coconut masala in bittergourd fry. But really this pairs wonderfully with rice items like sambar/rasam/curd rice. As you all know this veggie is loaded with vitamins , minerals and anti oxidants and is so good for diabetes . We enjoyed this dish thoroughly . Try this Masala Bittergourd Fry and let me know how it turned out for you.

Chettinad Potato Fry

Hi Friends,
Chettinad cuisine is so famous for its freshly grounded masala powders .This is one such very aromatic and delicious fry from chettinad that goes well with South Indian rice platter . Freshly ground masala gives a  nice aroma and wonderful taste to this recipe. The spice touch makes this fry more addictive. I love it more spicy , but its absolutely up to your taste  to increase or decrease the spiciness .  We had shifted our house and there was no net connection , so not able to blog for a quite long time . Feeling happy to blog after a break of  couple of weeks. Thanks dear friends and readers for all your support . Now lets see how to prepare this chettinad potato fry.

Salmon Fish Fry / Meen Varuval

Hi friends,

Hope everyone had a great weekend.Today I am sharing one of my favourite dish.I am so fond of fish recipes. When I was a small girl if my mom make fish fry ,first I will pop into the kitchen and will start tasting. My dad  will buy only Viral meen ( butter fish ) those days as we find it more tastier than other fishes and my mom uses only simple ingredients (i.e) chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt for marination .That was really great in taste.

Once I happen to read a book that had a recipe note for this  Salmon fry in one of my neighbours house  and I loved that at first sight .From then whenever we buy salmon I used to prepare the same method.Thats a big hit in my family. And my kid loved it so much . Try this yummy fry you too will stick to this one.You can use any boneless fish for this fry ,Vajjiram meen/King fish suits perfectly.Lets go to the fish fry…
